Check out this amazing picture taken by Melanie Bearne.

Taken while waiting to access Tooting Lido, Melanie, 49, made the most of the amazing surroundings and took a photo.

You may be surprised that Melanie is not a professional photographer, nor has she brought her camera along to the Lido

She just took the picture on her iPhone. Surely even a professional would have to be happy with that beauty?

Melanie, an antenatal teacher, told us about taking the photo.

"I'm not especially [a keen photographer], but I do take photos for my Strava account - not many people 'get' why anyone would rock up to a cold pool in the dark for fun.", she said.

"We were just waiting for entry to the Lido.

"It's an odd time of year as you can still book to swim at 6am but you need to actually wait until the lifeguards can clearly see the whole pool before letting you in.

"So I was just standing by the entrance gates and looking out over the Common and it was just beautiful."

Melanie may not fancy herself as much of a photographer, however, we couldn't be happier that she whipped her phone out at this moment to picture Tooting looking so beautiful.
