WATCH: Celebrities say 'thank you' to St George's staff

A group of celebrities have come together to celebrate the work of St George's Hospital staff throughout the pandemic.

Following emergency spinal surgery in December, Emergency Department Nurse Georgina Day spent Christmas and New Year in St George's as a patient.

During her recovery, she decided she wanted to do something to support the teams she'd usually be working with to boost staff morale.

Her idea was to create a video with messages of thanks and support from celebrities.

The above video features a wide array of celebrities - From Lorraine Kelly and Susanna Reid to Ashley Roberts and Paul Hollywood.

Georgina Day said: "I felt helpless hearing how difficult the shifts were for staff. This project was my way of sending a huge thank you to them for their phenomenal work. They are all truly the best."
