A 39-year-old man from Crystal Palace will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court charged with section 18 GBH.

This comes following a fatal stabbing on Upper Tooting Road which has left a 25-year-old man in critical condition.

Antwan McLeary, 39 of Antigua Walk, will appear in court on Monday 17 May.

Section 18 GBH (Grievous Bodily Harm) is the most serious offence of violence.

Detectives from the Met's South West Basic Command Unit continue to investigate the attack and would like to hear from anybody with information about the attack.
