By The Editor 21st Apr 2021

Police and Immigration Enforcement has made two arrests in Wandsworth yesterday (20 April) following a joint operation targeting uninsured fast-food delivery drivers.

The operation was conducted following complaints regarding the 'manner of driving' on mopeds.

The arrests took place at McDonald's at Wandsworth Roundabout.

A spokesperson for Met Police Road and Transport said:

"We stopped them to ensure they are fit for use and have the correct documentation (Insurance, MOT, CBT etc) and the riders had a relevant driving licence.

"Two arrested for immigration offences.

"A number of traffic offence reports were issued for various offences."
