A well-known Tooting pub owner met Frank Lampard while walking in Wimbledon Common yesterday (3 March).

Jimmy, owner of The Ramble Inn, was on his daily walk when he bumped into the world-famous footballer.

"He was really friendly and talkative," Jimmy told Nub News.

Residents have been responding to the photograph of the pair on social media.

Tooting and Mitcham FC said: "Just a reminder we haven't yet announced a new reserve team gaffer."

Jimmy described the former Chelsea and England player as a 'really nice' and 'down to earth' guy.
