Tooting: Police release image in relation to man 'touching himself inappropriately' on train

British Transport Police have released a picture of a man following an incident of indecent exposure.

Do you recognise the man in the picture? If so, police have asked if you can get in contact with them as they believe he may have information that could help with their investigation.

Officers have been investigating an incident after the victim saw a man touching himself inappropriately while looking at her and another female while on a Northern line service.

The incident happened at around 8.40pm on April 11.

The victim got on the train at Stockwell along with the man, before he departed at Colliers Wood station.

A statement from British Transport Police says: "Officers investigating an indecent exposure offence on board a southbound Northern line train from Stockwell to Colliers Wood are today releasing images in connection.

At around 8.40pm on Sunday 11 April the victim boarded a train at Stockwell and sat near the door to the adjacent carriage.

A few minutes into the journey, the victim saw a man who had also boarded the train at Stockwell in the carriage next to her touching himself inappropriately whilst looking at her and another female. The man then got off the train at Colliers Wood station.

Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation.
