Tooting Pocket Park is just days away from being completed, Wandsworth Council has confirmed.

Unless the weather turns bad in the next few days, the park is set to be open next week.

The new park, located on Mellison Road, will feature a climbing frame, play bridge, stepping logs and a rain garden.

The park has had a series of delays since construction started in February. The council says that this has been due to the non-arrival of certain items from manufacturers that have been affected by Covid-19.

Wandsworth Council told Nub News that the park "should be completed in the next few days, weather permitting".
