Anthea Allen's first book Life, death and biscuits is number four on the Sunday Times Bestseller list.

Anthea's book was published on Thursday February 17 and has already made it to the coveted list.

Anthea's book documents her time as a critical care nurse working on the front lines of one of the largest hospitals in Europe, St George's Tooting, during the coronavirus pandemic.

She told Tooting Nub News: "I feel totally overwhelmed but thrilled and honoured and proud to be a voice for nurses and tell their story, particularly critical care nurses."

Anthea never set out to write a book, it started off as an email chain that just continued to grow and ended up in the hands of a writer who helped her produce the book which was published by Harper Collins.

You can purchase Life, death and biscuits from Waterstones here.
