It's easier than ever to access COVID-19 home testing kits as Tooting Library begins to hand out lateral flow tests to residents today.

In a bid to keep COVID-19 out of the borough, and identify those who have the virus and do not display any symptoms, all residents can access rapid lateral flow tests from a number of local locations.

You can collect a test from the library in Tooting, Battersea and Wandsworth.

For people who can't collect tests from a local site, you can order a box of tests online, or through 119, which will be delivered to your home.

Cllr Ravi Govindia, Leader of Wandsworth Council, said:

"It's great news that you can now access COVID-19 tests at public libraries, making it easier than ever for those that live and work in Wandsworth to access home testing kits. It is vital that we all get tested twice a week to limit the spread of COVID-19.

"Home testing kits are quick and easy to use and they help us protect our local communities. Now, when you are visiting one of our participating libraries – don't just pick up a book, pick up a test!"
