This week, our Event of the Week is the Holy Trinity Upper Tooting Tour guided walk, which will be happening on Saturday (July 3).

If you're wanting to find out a bit more about history in the local area, then this event is one not to be missed.

There will be two separate tours - one at 11am and one at 2pm - both starting from Tooting Bec tube station.

The walk will be taking place around the historic Tooting Bec area and will see you taken right to the top of Upper Tooting.

After this, there will be a visit to the Holy Trinity Church where there will be an opportunity to inspect the recently restored tower with the encyclopedic knowledge of Geoff Simmons. There will also be refreshments available.

This event ran by Summerstown182 - a community project group dedicated to raising awareness about the history of Summerstown and surrounding areas.

Numbers are limited, so if you want to book your place, please get in contact with [email protected].
