A new bar could be appearing in Tooting in the near future as an application has been submitted to the council.

A company called Barracuda Bars LTD has submitted an application for a new bar which would be located at 120-132 Tooting High Street.

The venue is planning on being a 'cocktail and wine bar' and could even be open until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Within the application, the bar has said it will provide recorded and live music for its customers.

As for its opening hours, it has applied for it to be open seven days a week from 5pm until midnight, apart from on Friday and Saturday evenings, where it will close at 2am if the plans get the green light.

While the bar will not open until 5pm, the application states that the space would be used as a dance studio during the day by those who wish to book it.

If you would like to read the application in full, you can do so via the Wandsworth Council website.

Be sure to check the website for updates about the potential opening.
