Tooting: Comical shaming video released to try and catch fly-tippers

A video shaming a spate of fly-tips in Tooting has been shared online.

Wandsworth Council has posted the video as part of its 'Caught on Camera' series on YouTube, which encourages members of the public to get in touch so that the council can find the culprits.

Remarkably, the footage shows not one, not two, but three incidents of serious fly-tipping on Thrale Road in Tooting before the bins had been collected.

Not only this, but all were dumped at a location with a clear 'NO FLY TIPPING' sign.

As you can see in the video, a mattress, a table and stand, and a sofa was all dumped at this spot.

While the video is a bit of fun and the narrator humorously mocks the actions of those dumping the rubbish, ultimately it is no laughing matter - so if you can help the council identify these people then please do.

If you recognise anyone in the video who is fly-tipping, please contact [email protected].
