Earlsfield is home to the highest-rated takeaway on Trip Advisor and the third-best overall restaurant.

Amrutha Lounge, a vegan restaurant on Garratt Lane, has been serving food that some reviewers say is 'the most delicious vegan food' they've ever tasted.

The restaurant was opened by schoolfriends Arvin Sutaramoophy and Shyam Kotecha in 2018.

Amrutha Lounge aims to create 'innovative plant-based dishes and heart-warming classics' for their customers.

All of the food is prepared from scratch on a daily basis.

They say they focus on elevating simple ingredients to 'extraordinary levels'.

The restaurant has received 589 'excellent' reviews.

One reviewer said: "This restaurant provided the best vegan food I have ever tasted, and as a meat-eater, that's saying a lot.

"If I could cook vegan food the way they do, I would become a convert immediately."

Another reviewer said: "Food is so delicious, we have eaten there regularly in the past and ordered.

"Unlike a lot of places, the delivered food maintains the high quality of the restaurant.

"They accommodated all dietary requirements enthusiastically. Just excellent service- can't praise strongly enough!"
