Two year groups from a Tooting Primary School are currently self isolating at home due two positive cases of coronavirus.
A staff member and a pupil from Sellincourt Primary School tested positive for the virus.
The school, situated on Sellincourt Road, followed government regulations and told two year groups to self-isolate at home for fourteen days.
A school spokesman said: "In line with national Coronavirus rules and regulations two year groups are currently isolating at home for 14 days after two people at the school tested positive for the virus.
"One is a member of staff and the other is a pupil. No-one else at the school is affected and all other year groups are attending classes as normal.
"We have made sure that those isolating at home continue to receive tuition so that any disruption to their learning and education is kept to an absolute minimum and we look forward to welcoming them back as soon as the 14 day period is complete."
It has been confirmed that one year group from Fircroft Primary School is also self-isolating after one positive case of the virus.
The R rate across the UK is currently at 1.1.
The latest government data says that 21,350 people in the UK are testing positive for the virus daily.
