Gifted - the Enterprise Nation Small Business virtual Christmas market – is free and aims to drive online sales and celebrate the range of unique products available from independent traders.

Wandsworth Council has part sponsored the virtual market to offer 45 guaranteed places to small businesses in the borough.

It will also be an opportunity for independent traders to showcase their products and reach thousands of potential customers across the country in the run up to Christmas.

What categories of businesses will the market feature?

• Food and Drink

• Fashion

• Homewares

• Travel & Lifestyle

• Gifts for pets

• Festive services – services that can be offered as gifts such as pottery and cocktail-making classes

What will successful applicants receive?

Successful applicants will be able to access training in how to sell online, plus support with marketing and a profile in the show guide.

All applicants will be given free membership for 12 months of Enterprise Nation and access to an online group for Wandsworth businesses on its platform.

Cllr Aled Richards-Jones, cabinet member for economic development, skills and employment, said:

"This is an excellent opportunity for our small businesses, many of whom have been hit hard by the lockdown, to show the fantastic range of unique products they offer."
