A Tooting pub has been featured in the iconic 'TOOTING' artwork by Draw My Town.

The Rose & Crown, situated on Tooting Bec Road, is a favourite with locals.

Ben Poultney, creator of art business 'Draw My Town' and former Tooting resident, has been regularly featuring new landmarks and people from around the area.

The Rose & Crown has been showcasing local artists in their windows throughout the pandemic.

In an initiative named 'Buy Art Feed Tooting' the pub is supporting the local community by showcasing local artists' work and donating 10% of every sale to a local charity.

Ben Poultney told Nub News: "I found myself at the Rose and Crown for the first time last year as I went to collect a copy of a football programme I designed for Tooting FC, and I found myself staying there for a good few hours, enjoying the coziness. I felt very welcomed.

"That combined with the charity initiative they're running at the moment, meant that they were in the running to be drawn into my Tooting Illustration."
