Police confirm human remains found in Kent are Sarah Everard's

Police have confirmed that human remains found in a woodland in Kent are those of Sarah Everard.

33-year-old Sarah Everard went missing on Wednesday 3 March while walking back to her home in Brixton from Clapham.

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.

A woman was also arrested at the same location (March 9) on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police involved in the search for Sarah Everard found human remains on Wednesday (March 10) in Ashford, Kent.
