A St George's Hospital nurse who lost her purse almost a month ago was shocked to find it posted anonymously to her home last week.

Angelina Lawson, Wallington, believes she lost her purse on walking from her car to work on Woodbury Street in the middle of December.

The purse, which was had cash, cards and personal information inside, turned up at Angelina's home last week.

Angelina's daughter, Ella, put out an appeal on social media in the hope of identifying the mystery sender.

Ella Cosgrove, Tooting resident of seven years, told Nub News:

"My mum is just so grateful that someone would take their time out to do that.

"She says it's nice to know that there are still some nice people out there."

In a time when hospitals in around the capital like St George's are under immense pressure, little deeds of good-will make a big difference to people like Angelina.

"The job is already extremely stressful and my mum has been seeing some really troubling things," Ella continued.

"So losing her purse just wasn't what she needed last month."

If you are the mystery sender - a big thank you from us at Nub News.

Make sure to get in touch as Angelina and Ella would like to thank you too!
