New supermarket in Tooting has successful first week

A new supermarket in Tooting has had a successful first week.
Food City, situated at 42 London Road, aims to be the ultimate convenience store.

The supermarket sells groceries, fresh vegetables, beers and wines, tobacco, chilled and frozen food, and specialises in Sri Lankan and Indian groceries and vegetables.
The store also has a large range of Eastern European and Caribbean food.
In addition to this, we also have a small range of gluten-free products.
Ravi, co-owner, told Nub News: "The response has been great, all the customers have given us great feedback.
"They love the space between shelves, which also help with social distancing and parents with pushchairs.
"We will slowly try and adjust our range to suit what our customers want in the future.
"Also, our aim is to keep the store clean, tidy and offer friendly service to all our customers."
