A new pizza restaurant will be opening in Balham soon, and they've told us why they're coming to SW12.

Crust Bros will be opening on Hildreth Street in the near year, taking over at number 2, which was formerly Uncommon Cafe.

Owner of the restaurant Joe told us that Balham was an area they have wanted to come to for a while and that they love the "community vibe".

Crust Bros currently have restaurants in Waterloo and at Sambrook's Brewery Tap in Wandsworth.

This restaurant will be their third venture.

Crust Bros, in partnership with Earthly, plants a tree for every single they pizza they make.

Joe told Tooting Nub News: "Balham is somewhere we've wanted to come for ages.

"Hildreth Street is one of those magical streets, it feels like a real hidden gem, right in the centre of vibrant Balham.

"We love the community vibe here, with a local crowd of foodies.

"We can't wait to open!"

The restaurant serves a whole range of pizzas - both classic and personalised. You can also get vegan pizzas, as well as a host of sides and salads.
