Dr Rosena Allin-Khan says she would volunteer at St George's if MPs are banned from second jobs

Amid criticisms of Conservative MP Geoffrey Cox raking in almost £900,000 a year from a second job, there have been questions asked about whether MPs should be allowed to do second jobs.

Our own MP, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, also works as a doctor for St George's Hospital during recess periods. This theoretical change would impact her, however, she says that she would continue to do work for St George's - even for free.

Fish Universe leaves poster distancing itself from Fish World who moves next door

The story on everyone's lips.

Fish Universe, which has been situated on Mitcham Road since 2014, have a new rival on the block. Right next door.

Meat Wize has been renamed to Fish World, changing their old red branding to blue, very similar to Fish Universe's branding.

The owner of Fish Universe isn't particularly pleased, and has left a big poster distancing themselves from Fish World, and has also had some strong words to say about the situation.

When Tooting's Christmas tree lights will turn on

We know we're not there yet, but we're only a few weeks away from the Christmas spirit.

The date has been revealed for when Tooting's Christmas lights will be turned on.

Tooting Lights Up festival took place last weekend and it was bags of fun.

This colourful piece will show you some video and lots of pictures from the event, which truly represented the best thing about Tooting - its community.

Man arrested as woman in twenties rushed to hospital following crash near Broadway station

A man was arrested last week as a woman in her twenties was rushed to hospital following a collision between a pedestrian and a car.

Tooting High Street was shut in both directions for a number of hours as emergency services arrived at the scene.
