A former Graveney Pupil has joined Radio 4's long-running news program as a presenter.
Amol Rajan works currently as the BBC's media editor, a Radio 2 DJ and often a presenter on The One Show.
He will be the fifth presenter on Radio 4's flagship news show.
Rajan previously told the BBC: "My aim is just to do them, and our listeners, proud. I've no intention of trying to reinvent news, and think the best thing is to keep it simple.
"Be fair, get to the truth, and don't screw up."
Rajan will also host his own interview series on BBC Two, as well as a new two-part royal documentary.
Rajan's career started on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff as a researcher.
He continued to work hard and went on to be the editor of the Independent, joining the BBC in 2016.
Rajan will be working alongside Mishal Husain, Nick Robinson, Martha Kearney and Justin Webb.
