Earlier this year, a family was devastated when their dad was diagnosed with coronavirus and fell into a coma for six weeks.

Originally at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and transported to St George's Hospital, Christina Clay's family was unable to visit her father due to coronavirus restrictions.

Christina said: "Without the help of both these hospitals our dad wouldn't be here today.

"They saved his live and brought our dad home and for that we will be forever grateful."

Christina said that despite being busy, the staff always made sure to ask how they were doing throughout the day, so they could report back to their father.

Now Christina is raising money to give back to the hospitals. She has organised a chocolate bouquet giveaway from her business and is asking people to donate to be in with a chance of winning a chocolate bouquet.

The giveaway has already raised over £1,000, which exceeds her original target.

Christina added: "The virus not only affected our dad but his brother too, who unfortunately lost his life and we want as much research into it to make sure the world can be a safer and better place."
