A 'refugees welcome' protest is due to be held in Tooting on Saturday (24th Oct).
Hosted by Stand Up To Racism and Extinction Rebellion, members of the community will be marching from Bickley Street to Tooting Common.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Refugees need our solidarity and support, but instead they are greeted with the 'hostile environment' and treated like criminals.
"We say no to detention centres and prison ships. Another world is possible."
The protest will culminate on The Common at midday near the junction of Elmbourne Road and Tooting Bec Road.
Extinction Rebellion Wandsworth recently held a 'Green Man Swarm' on Tooting Broadway.
The protest was held in honour of 'Clean Air Day'.
The activist group headed into the road between 8am and 9am to protest the emissions caused by the A24.
Protesters carried banners and handed out leaflets, but say no traffic was stopped.
Ben Mango, local resident and Extinction Rebellion member, said:
"During the COVID-19 lockdown we experienced cleaner air and saw massive shifts to low pollution behaviours.
"Let's keep up the momentum and keep our air clean."
