Tooting and Balham residents are continuing to enjoy a dumpling delivery service that was created over lockdown.

Hao Hao Chi began as a food stall in 2015 and set up their permanent home at Peckham Levels in 2017.

The food stall made a name for itself by regularly attending Balham Food Festival, Northcote Road Christmas Market and more.

Unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions the Peckham-based market closed and Hao Hao Chi had to rethink their strategy.

The business now offers frozen premium dumpling delivery across South West and South East London.

Co-creator of the business, Lucy Ahfong, told Nub News:

"It's been nearly three months and the dumplings have been an absolute hit.

"They are really easy to cook up from frozen; around 10 minutes from freezer to plate, so great if you fancy a convenient, tasty dinner with dipping sauces included.

"I personally deliver to selected SW and SE postcodes on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a view to expanding the areas in the future."

"The response from the community has been fantastic! I love seeing my customers excited when their dumplings arrive.
