Tooting's Sainsbury's will soon feature a gourmet Japanese food store where trained chefs cook in front of customers.

Sushi Gourmet has already been placed in over one hundred of Sainsbury's stores around the UK.

The gourmet Japanese concession will open on 4th November near the front of the store.

Sainsbury's Property Director Patrick Dunne told Nub News:

"From November 4, Sainsbury's customers will have the opportunity to buy fresh Japanese food to go in our Tooting High Street store.

"Sushi Gourmet's sushi and teppanyaki is freshly prepared by highly trained sushi chefs in-store and in front of customers, using quality ingredients to create great value ready to eat products.

"We have over 125 Sushi Gourmet concessions in our stores. We work with our concession partners to complement our offer, maximise the use of our space, and give our customers the one stop shop experience."
